追求世間利祿的道路，
完全不同於涅槃之道。
應該確切瞭解此道理，
願出家人，佛陀的追隨者，
不沈湎於世間的功名利祿，
勤修解脫出離的涅槃之道。
《南傳法句經5.75》
A嚭ā hi lābhūpanisā,
a嚭ā nibbānagāminī.
Evametaṃ abhi嚭āya,
bhikkhu buddhassa sāvako,
sakkāraṃ nābhinandeyya,
vivekamanubrūhaye.

One is the quest for worldly gain,
and quite another is the path to Nibbana.
Clearly understanding this,
